- The third reason why people don't seem to have success with the law of attraction is because of how the mind works. You mind is like a rubber band. When you have gained a new concept the mind resist it at first. 

No matter what you tell yourself the mind will put up a fight so vigorous that it won't absorb the new information. It takes hearing the information again and again in order for the mind to 'Get it.' When the mind finally gets it, everything begins to work now on autopilot and work effectively.
